The Noto Peninsula 能登半島 is a land steeped in coastal culture, incredible scenery, and top notch seafood. While the western side of Japan's mainland is less-traveled, its uniqueness is unrivaled. The bustling cities of Takayama and Kanazawa fade quickly into terraced rice paddies, steep rocky ocean cliffs, and surreal views from its sandy beaches.
While Noto is one of the least populated areas in all of Japan, what the area lacks in numbers it more than makes up for in nature and adorable towns. Moreover, this is a truly fantastic place for riders interested in seeing the Japanese seaside with minimal car traffic, serene towns, and a healthy mix of hidden gems and top tourist stops.
Join us for a week long exploration of Japan's famous western peninsula for a week full of coastal roads, terraced rice fields, unbeatable seafood, and off the beaten path explorations!
