Gunma holds the headwaters of many of Japan's largest rivers. Known for its incredible valleys and volcanoes, this Prefecture is also home to many of the top ranked hot springs and onsen towns.
Explore and soak your way through two Historic Onsen Towns, in powerful waters that are said to "heal any aliment but a broken heart". Experience the adrenaline-filled climbs and descents on incredible volcano roads.
We can't wait to show you the endless treasure trove of magical baths, traditional ryokan hotels, ancient culture, and impeccable cuisine - all waiting to be discovered in the mountains of Gunma.
