PAYMENTS & CANCELLATIONS

Deposit
To confirm your spot on a trip, BTJ requires a $1,000.00 USD per person deposit for self-guided and guided trips. Promotions and discounts will be applied towards final payment of the trip, and not the deposit.

Final Payment
Once a deposit has been received, we will send a confirmation email. The outstanding balance is due 2 months (60 days) prior to your trip’s departure date. For reservations made within 60 days of the tour’s departure, final payment is due at time of booking.

Failure to Complete Payment
If final payment is not received 60 days prior to departure, a late fee of $200.00 USD per person will apply. At 30 days prior to departure, your reservation is subject to cancellation.

Payment Methods
Payments should be made in USD, and acceptable forms of payment include: Zelle Pay, Wire Transfer, or PayPal (credit/debit).
BTJ will accept personal checks in certain circumstances, but we are currently moving towards 100% e-payments. We do not accept cash. A $100.00 fee will be added to each reservation if you request an immediate refund and recharge to a different payment method.

Pricing Notes
Prices on our website are displayed in USD per guest, and includes tax, service fees, and tips. Guests who wish to have their own room for certain trips may pay a Single Supplement. The cost varies depending on the trip and can be found on each tour page on our website. BTJ will not provide price adjustments for arriving late or departing early from a tour.

Cancellations and Transfers
The cancellation policies detailed below take into account the costs BTJ incurs pre-trip departure.

GUIDED TRIP CANCELLATION POLICY

60-31 Days 50% of Trip Price
30-0 Days 100% of Trip Price

If canceling outside of 30 days prior to departure, the full amount paid can be applied as Travel Credit to any available trips for the current or following season. This Travel Credit is valid within 400 days of cancellation. Once a Travel Credit has been applied to a trip, it is considered non-refundable.

DATE CHANGES TO PRIVATE TRIPS

Requests to change tour or date of an existing reservation will be accommodated based on availability. The guest is responsible for any additional cancellation fees incurred from hotels, flights, etc. One date change per reservation is permitted.
